The broadcaster in me appreciates the economy of language, giving the most detail with the least amount of words. So, to put it simply, my design aesthetic is eclectic.

But the designer in me would like to elaborate. 

​

Maybe it was growing up in Bucks County, surrounded by beautiful old homes, or my dad bringing home various oddities from rowhomes he was renovating in Philadelphia, or my summers spent on my family's farm in rural Italy; but I've always loved old things. 

​

It didn't matter the period. If it was unique, a little worn, and had an interesting backstory - it was as good as gold in my eyes. My appreciation for old things has evolved into a love for designing homes with eclectic character. 

​

When you think of homes with character, you immediately think of older homes, but to me, every home has character if you look hard enough. 

​

My design philosophy is to embrace a "new-old" approach; whether blending pre-existing character in an older home with modern amenities or adding distinctive and personal elements to transform more modern or generic builds. 

​

I believe an eclectic design is the best way to blend everything that makes you, you. None of us fit into one category, one music genre, one design style - and by sourcing items, fabrics, and furnishings that represent the whole of you as a client; your home becomes what it is truly meant to be; a reflection of you.
